Dhyana or meditation is one of the important aspect of yoga. Without meditation yoga practices are incomplete.  Siddhartha became Buddha by the practice of meditation.  Meditation helps in restoring mental peace, calmness and strengthening immune system. It prepares the mind for higher consciousness leading to enlightenment.

In modern days meditation is the panacea to overcome stress, tension, anxiety and restlessness inducing mental balance & equipoise.
